Monday 23 March Nap is Even So 4.30 Naas @ 11/10 Skybet

Result  - 3rd

Sunday 22 March Nap is VINNIE IS BABY 1.40 Downpatrick @ 6/4 Bet365

Result - 3rd

Saturday 21st March 🚀NAP is JOHNNY LITTLE LEGS 2.40 Thurles @ 10/3 Bet365

Result - 9th

Finished mid division in three maiden hurdles, gaining a handicap mark of 89 in the process.

Sent off 12/1 on handicap debut but unseated when trying to avoid a faller in a cluster of horses when still in contention.

Almost made amends a fortnight ago when looking the likely winner at this track over 2miles (traded 1/10 in running).

Up 4lb for that effort but still looks very well handicapped and should be capable of a very bold showing again under the same 7lb claimer Mark McDonagh.

Friday 20th March 🚀NAP is AERCLUB 2.00 Dundalk @ 6/4 WHills/Unibet/Boyles

Result - 💣WON

Charm Spirit colt who went for 45,000gns at the Tattersalls Guineas breeze ups. Missed intended debut due to a vaccination error on October.

Made racecourse debut in November though when sent off 20/1 over today's course and distance. Ran a stormer beating Dune Of Pilat who has since won twice easily and now rated 92 and also holds a Derby entry.

Shoulders a 5lb penalty for that but will be hard to beat on his debut run and a repeat of that may suffice.

Line Judge looks like a decent prospect for the future and gets 10lb off the selection under todays conditions but she will need to improve significantly on her debut run to finish ahead of the selection.

Tuesday 17th March 🚀NAP is JURY DUTY 4.10 Down Royal @ 5/4 Ladbrokes

Result - 2nd

Won this race last year in preparation for the Grand National when sent off 10/1 third fav behind Tiger Roll. Unseated at the 18th when still in contention but pulled up in Irish equivalent later that month.

Two recent hurdle runs should have put him spot on for today and is thrown in on the adjusted weights by 14lb, 16lb, 25lb, 31lb with his 4 rivals.

Clear round should be enough for this 9 year old switched back to fences from hurdles and up in trip for his shrewd yard who can gain another win.

Monday 16th March 🚀NAP is HAASAB 3.00 Southwell @ 13/8 Bet365

Result - 💣WON

Consistent gelding who struggled to give 24lb to Sincerely Resdev LTO when second at Sedgefield. Pair were clear of the field though and he traded 1.17 jumping the last.

Upped to a 0-110 today but with the ground likely to be extremely testing with the going stick reading of 4.4 and the drop back to 2miles he looks the one they have to beat.

Trainer 2/24 in 2020 so far but with horses that started under under 20/1 she has had 2 winners, 5 seconds, 5 thirds and 4 fourths from 17 runners, showing incredible consistency.

Sunday 15th March 🚀NAP is LE ROCHER @ 5/2 all firms

Result - 6th

Relatively lightly raced (only 24 starts, 8 wins) hurdler and chaser who has remained consistent throughout his career. Seemingly showing little signs of ageing yet and has his desperate ground that he thrives on (5 wins from 11 starts on heavy).

Hold up tactics could play into his hands today and with a clear round he looks set to go close off a chase mark 2lb lower than his hurdle mark.

Saturday 14th March 🚀NAP is MOSS GILL 8.00 Wolverhampton @ 11/10 Bet365

Result - 💣WON

Progressive three year old last season with 3 wins and five 2nds from 9 starts, his mark rocketing from 74 up to 98.

Had a winter break and returns to this conditions race 3lb better off than if this were a handicap and his fair course second last season was after a 299 day break so looks set to give his two rivals plenty to worry about.

Friday 13th March 🚀 Nap is VANDAD 3.40 Lingfield @ 7/2 Bet365.

Result - 6th

125,000gns breeze up purchase and had two runs for Richard Hughes back end of the flat season.

Changed yard to current connections and put in his best piece of work yet when 3rd at Chelmsford in November.

Gained a mark of 73 for that but the form has taken a massive boost with the 2nd winning twice, the 4th also winning twice since (now rated 81) and the 5th winning (now 79).

Trainer in fine fettle with 3 wins from last 9 a/w runners (and a 2nd) and he looks set to land another prize if this colt is fit enough from his 106 days break off this extremely lenient mark.

Louis Steward takes the ride

Thursday 12th March 🚀NAP is ESPOIR MORIVIERE 4.35 Hexham @ 5/4

Result - Non runner

Wednesday 11th March 🚀NAP is TIGER ROLL 4.10 Cheltenham @ 4/5

Result - 2nd

Tuesday 10th March 🚀NAP is CAREFULLY SELECTED 5.30 Cheltenham @ 13/8

Monday 9th March 🚀NAP is LATENT HEAT 1.55 Kempton @ 5/4 Bet365

Saturday 7th March 🚀NAP is

SAINT DE VASSY 4.05 Hereford @ EVS Bet365/Betfair/PaddyPower/Betvictor

(sent to Telegram at 11.35am)

Result - Pulled up

Lightly raced but very consistent 7 year old who has finished in the first 4 in all but one start (made mistake).

Shown a clear liking for this ground and looks to have a great chance of losing his maiden tag.

Tongue tie applied for first time and a clear round of jumping may be enough to land the prize getting weight off all his rivals.

Friday 6th March 🚀NAP is OFFICER DRIVEL 2.00 Chelmsford @ 3/1 BetFred.

(sent to Telegram at 10.36am)

Result - 6th

Veteran performer who started life off 72 in handicaps for Luke Dace before embarking on successful hurdle career for Jim Best (126). Returned to flat and mark stayed same for some time before switch to Paddy Butler where his mark plummeted to a career low of just 45.

Returned to the 'Best family' in November and was 33/1 unfancied on first run back for them last month when 3rd but quickly turned out again and well supported in market. Bumped into an Irish gamble though finishing a creditable second, the pair a long way clear of the rest.

This looks a weaker race with plenty of exposed types and he looks the bet based on that last run, a repeat of which should suffice.

N Over J could be a danger on old form but has been bitterly disappointing on several occasion recently.

Thursday 5th March 🚀NAP is MINT CONDITION 4.35 Carlisle @ 11/10 Bet365/Skybet/PPower and most others.

(sent to Telegram at 11.40am)

Result - 2nd

Lightly raced six year old gelding making only his 5th start today.

Has put in some fair efforts though against some decent rivals including Soaring Glory on stable debut and going with Shishkin and Shakem Up'Harry until two out when 4th at Newbury on heavy ground.

Last seen in Feb when running well behind the 139 rated Lieutenant Rocco with 132 rated Stick With Bill 2nd, beaten 12 lengths but he made a mistake at the last when looking tired over the 2m3f trip, again on heavy ground. Drop back to 2m1f looks ideal and the heavy ground will suit him.

Worth noting he is 10lb 'wrong' at the weights with his main market rival today but Cracking Destiny gained his wins on good ground and his hike in the weights was gained on much better ground. Also he has been rather disappointing on his three 'soft' ground starts so may have questions to answer on that sphere with the going sure to be testing today

Wednesday 4th March 🚀NAP is CEMHAAN @ Evens BetVictor/Unibet

(sent to Telegram at 10.01am)

Result - WON - SP 4/7! 💣

Muhaarar colt who made his debt in October and raced green. Given an easy time of it out the back thereafter and ran ok despite finishing only 9th/13.

Off for 4 months after but no surprise to see a marked improvement on that when beating the front two in the betting at Newcastle oner 1mile but was no match for an Archie Watson debutant, finishing a decent second.

Drawn stall 1 for tonight and whilst he may need further in time he should get a fair run up the home straight tonight and should be capable of landing this on what we have seen so far.

Trainer John Gosden has a superb record with his 3 year old colts in non handicaps on the all weather with 48% winning in 2018 and 44% in 2019.

Outsider Lady Pendragon gets a mention on the form of her last run but she may have a lot on her plate tonight and will qualify for handicaps after this.

Tuesday 3rd March - No Nap today.

Monday 2nd March 🚀NAP is UNFORGIVING MINUTE 6.45 Wolverhampton @ 11/10 WilliamHill/Betfair/PaddyPower/Betfred

(sent to Telegram at 11.27am)

Result - 💣 WON

Consistent performer who is in fine fettle right now with 3 wins from his last 4 starts.

One of two horses well in on adjusted weights but his main rival in that sphere has been off the track for a while now and may just need a few spins before she can threaten our selection.

This is the upper end of his stamina limit but he gets this trip fine and granted a trouble free run round.

Sunday 1st March - No Nap today.

Saturday 29th Feb 🚀NAP is HARBOUR FRONT 6.30 Southwell @ 7/4 Ladbrokes

(sent to Telegram at 1.00pm)

Result - 2nd

Led away unsold at the breeze ups in April 2018 and then gelded in July 2019.

Made belated debut in October when putting in a decent piece of work behind Pianissimo (who has won twice since, now 89) if looking a little laboured.

Dropped to 12f on second start but again ran on well, shaping like he needed further when finishing 4th (third horse won since and now rated 92).

Third run was a switch to this track, again over 12f, and the jockey had a prolonged battle most the way rousting him along at several intervals. Indeed he looked in trouble on the home turn but he battled it out to beat Straightouttacompton close home. Yet again the form has worked out well with the second winning his next two races.

The step up to 1m6f today looks exactly what he wants judged by his 3 races to date and the course form should stand him in well here.

As the only 4 year old in the race he can also claim 3lb WFA allowance and with his admirable trainer showing a 30.9% profit to SP with handicappers on fibresand he looks value at the current odds.

Friday 28th Feb 🚀NAP is UNITED FRONT 6.30 Dundalk @ 7/4 BetVictor/Coral

(sent to Telegram at 10.30am)

Result - 💣 WON - SP 5/6!

War Front colt who made a fairly decent debut when 4th, with the front 3 all rated above 100 now. Another fair effort followed when drawn 4 at Navan with the first three home racing closer to the faster rail drawn 2-1-3 and now rated 111, 91 & 92. Having raced furthest off the rail of those 4 he done well considering, those 4 finishing clear of the rest. The form after this race of the others and helps explain the 4/7 defeat.

Then packed his bags for Royal Ascot and the Chesham when last seen when 50/1 behind superstar Pinatubo. He finished 9th but was snatched up at a crucial point and whilst clearly he wouldn't have won he may well have finished closer with a clear run.

Big drop in company tonight and a wide draw to overcome (12 but may race from 9 after reserves withdrawn) but the winning stalls numbers in 2020 at this track over 6f have seen wide stalls 12 and 13 bag one each from just 5 races and stall 8 one win.

Morning Fav Healy's Double is probably better than her form suggests (ex French for Vicky Haigh) and she will no doubt run a big race but she has to concede 9lb WFA to the AP O'Brien colt and that may prove a tricky task.

Thursday 27th Feb 🚀NAP is MAORI KNIGHT 6.30 Chelmsford @ 9/4 BetFred/PaddyPower/WHills

(sent to Telegram at 8.00am)

Result - 💣WON (Sp 8/11 !!)

Impressed on debut in July when sent off 25/1 and noted staying on in closing stages over 7f behind a pair from the powerful Godolphin operation. Only 4th of 5 on second start but only went down 1.5 lengths (again over 7f) and left distinct impression further would suit and the form has worked out ok.

That also fits his pedigree being by Camelot and todays step up to a mile should suit especially with the trainers record with younger horses after a break.

Night Voyager was held in high regard prior to his racecourse debut but has not lived up to his reputation so far at the track on two attempts but commands respect nonetheless. However he may need to pull out a fair bit more than he has shown if the selection runs his race.

Early money for Key Look on her debut but fluffed her lines at the start and whilst she looks a decent prospect she will need a lot of luck today with the car park draw (11/11).

Wednesday 26th Feb 🚀NAP is BRANDY PAD 1.40 Musselburgh @ 5/2 Skybet/Bet365 and others

(sent to Telegram at 11.59am)

Result - 2nd

Three mile P2P winner on bad ground this time last year and sold on soon after at the Cheltenham HIT.

Given three hurdle races for a handicap mark (sent off 80/1, 80/1 & 33/1) in October/November.

Made chase debut in handicap off 80 in December after attracting support in the market when sent off 7/2 second Fav. Struggled with a circuit to go (traded 2.5 in run) however and something clearly amiss when  pulled up.

Returned to track a few weeks later with C/P applied upped to 3miles and travelled well up front (traded 3.4 in run) until emptying out on the run in. Showed ability though and with the combination of C/P again, drop to 2m4f and a recent wind operation he could cause his higher rated rivals a problem off bottom weight of just 10-4lb.

Sean Quinlan takes the ride for Jennie Candish and the same combination has already struck gold 6 times from 31 rides (19.3%) in 2020 with a 49.4% profit to BSP.

Casimir Du Clos looks another interesting runner but he will do well to concede 17lb to the selection even with a handy 3lb off from Sam Coltherd.

Tuesday 25th Feb 🚀NAP is BYTHEBAY 4.30 Lingfield @ 11/10 Skybet/Ladbrokes

(sent to Telegram at 11.20am)

Result - 2nd

Sent off a 50/1 no-hoper last month over C&D from a yard that seldom has debutant winners. However ran a stormer in defeat in 2nd behind a filly who pinched the race from the front.

Clearly no world beater but that looks the best form of offer here and with natural progression should be able to see these off.

Trainer is 4 from last 13 runners on second start on the all weather last two years and is fancied to make that impressive stat 5 from 14.

Jockey Charles Bishop is also in fine fettle with 8/1 an 10/1 winners from his last 3 rides.

Monday 24th Feb 🚀NAP is DAZZLING DARREN 7.30 Wolverhampton @ 6/5 Bet365/BetFred

(sent to Telegram at 11.01am)

Result - 💣WON

Switched yards from Adam West at Ascot sales for under £5k in December to current connections.

Had to race of a mark of 60 on debut due to Irish rules of racing but managed to get into a weak 0-50 Class 6 Stakes race on second start for them, landing a gamble in the process.

Won again in handicap company upped to 12f LTO off 49, going about his work nicely and again well backed.

New mark of 53 but looks very well handicapped still and can land the hat-trick under the same jockey.

Trainer has an impressive 30.6% strike rate in handicaps with raiders sent across the sea with a 15% profit even at SP, remarkable considering many are heavily gambled.

Beggarman ran well on handicap debut and may come on but he will need to improve again to beat the selection.

Sunday 23rd Feb 🚀NAP is THOMAS DARBY 3.20 Fontwell @ 11/10 Bet365 and most firms, 6/5 with some smaller firms.

(sent to Telegram at 10.35am)

Result - 3rd

Hails from an in form yard with a staggering 21 winners from just 67 runners this year so far (41.8% ROI even to sp) and the form of this 7 year olds last victory couldn't have worked out better.

With the jockey allowance he was trying to concede 7lb to Song For Someone (yesterdays Nap) at Ascot off top weight. He ground it out up the stiff finish and looks to be one to be on the right side of today with that form taking a boost.

He is the best in on the adjusted weights in todays Grade 2 hurdle and the stiff finish can again work in his favour.

Welsh Champion Hurdle winner Monsieur Lecoq will be no pushover but the extra 4lb than if this were a handicap may well prove too much for the admirable gelding today.

William Henry and Chesterfield are likeable animals but age is creeping up on them both while Quel Destin, whilst no forlorn hope, will do well to beat the selection off level weights.

Saturday 22nd Feb 🚀NAP is SONG FOR SOMEONE @ 15/8  Ladbrokes/Bet365/PaddyPower

(sent to Telegram at 11.00am)

Result - 💣WON

Dual French province winner who has shown very progressive form since moving to Tom Symonds.

Solid efforts in good company in handicaps off marks from 136 to 149 finishing 1-3-2 this season.

Another step up in class today but fully deserves his chance. Wears his heart on his sleeve and leaves nothing behind so expect a brave fight.

One of two 5 year old but all the others are 8 or more and he has the unexposed feel to him and at the rate he is improving can land his first Graded race.
